- 1 large cucumber, peeled and sliced thinly
- 1 red onion, peeled and sliced thinly
- 1/3 cup white vinegar
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1/8 black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dill weed
- Soak red onion slices in ice water for 15 minutes.
- Drain the slices.
- Combine all the ingredients together.
- Stir and refrigerate at least an hour.
- Serve and enjoy.
