- 2 cans cherry pie filling
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 yellow cake mix
- 1 stick butter
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray 9 x 13 inch glass baking dish with non-stick spray.
- Spread cherry pie filling in bottom of the baking dish.
- Stir the vanilla in the pie filling.
- Sprinkle the cake mix in the next layer.
- Cut the butter into 18 slices.
- Spread over the top of the cake mix.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
- Serve with ice cream while warm (optional).
